Killing during an ICE operation in Biddeford, Maine 2026-07-13 • Biddeford, Maine (Pool Street / Hill Street)

A person was shot and killed on the morning of 13 July 2026 during a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation in Biddeford, Maine. A witness said officers in green ICE vests, arriving in an unmarked Ford Explorer with flashing lights, surrounded a white sedan with weapons drawn, after which he heard four shots. The person killed has not been identified, no agency has said who fired, and no official account has been released. It is at least the 11th fatal shooting involving ICE or Border Patrol agents this administration; the FBI is expected to investigate.
