2026-05-24 (Sunday) — organizer transferred, first major clash

  • ICE removes strike organizer Martín Soto Hernandez; protesters form a human chain and block a transport van.
  • Masked agents fire tear gas and shove protesters to the ground.
  • DHS confirms transferring Soto Hernandez to the Elizabeth Contract Detention Facility, says it "dispersed approximately 70 agitators," removed barricades, and suspends visitation at Delaney Hall.
